It was a quiet morning, but little Calvin was not happy at all. The tiny baby sat alone beneath a tree, trembling gently as he looked around with worried eyes. His stomach was empty, and all he could think about was milk. Usually, milk brought him comfort and happiness, but today things were very different.
Calvin searched everywhere he could see. He looked toward the grassy field, the nearby bushes, and even the path where others often passed by. Yet there was no sign of help. Finally, after a long and difficult wait, Calvin spotted movement in the distance. His eyes widened with hope. Although he was still frightened, he felt a little stronger knowing that he might not be alone much longer. The possibility of finding comfort and milk again filled his heart with relief.
By the end of the day, Calvin learned an important lesson. Even during lonely and frightening moments, hope can help us stay strong. Though the day began with sadness and uncertainty, Calvin continued believing that help would come, and that belief gave him courage when he needed it most
